favorite album/song in Bob/Greg/John Era
What is everyone's favorite album and song in each Era.
Bob's: album-Petra Song-Wake up
Greg's: Album-MPTY Song-Judas Kiss'
John's: Album-BB or JAH Song-Mine field or Life as We Know it
These are mine, it was very difficult to pick one from John so I narrowed it down to 2.

1. Not very familiar with Bob's era.
2. Greg's: Clean. (...and It is Finished, but I like it better live, by John).
3. John's: My favorite songs change but Just Reach Out is always one, and right now Jekyll & Hyde and This Means War.

1. Bob Era (i.e The Pioneer Age) -- Didn't really appeal to me. Would probably never have become a Petra fan during this era.
2. Greg Era (i.e. The Glory Age) -- "Grave Robber". Though "Adonai" and "It Is Finished" are close behind.
3. John Era (i.e. The Golden & Silver Ages) -- "Get On Your Knees And Fight Like A Man". True, the title was entirely too long for the cassette cover, but it made for a great T-Shirt.

Yeah, it's hard to pick one for Bob's era, given that Greg sang on half the songs on Come and Join Us. That's only an album and a few songs. I guess I'd pick "Wake Up" as my favorite song from that era.
Greg - Not of This World, "Pied Piper"
John - On Fire! "Mine Field"
Picking one from Greg's era is actually really hard. I think More Power to Ya has the best sound, but NOTW has the best songs.

Bob: "Storm Comin'," Petra
This happens to also be the song The Choir said they would cover when I asked them which one they would...if they would.
Greg: "It Is Finished," Beat The System
John: "Dead Reckoning," This Means War!

Re: favorite album/song in Bob/Greg/John Era
Greg Hough was singing on many songs in "Bobs era". I guess the two songwriters just was singing on the songs they had written themselves. I think before Greg X Volz came along, there kind of was no singer in the band, so I wouldn't call it "Bobs era". I would call the whole of Petra history for "Bobs era"...

Bob sang on most of the songs that is why I named it Bob's Era. IMO it's clear it should be called that.Boray wrote:Greg Hough was singing on many songs in "Bobs era".
