Farewell line-up reunion

I read at jws.com that Farewell Petra is going to Argentina in December for a few shows at Rock and Vida 10. That is indeed great news! I wish I could be there. I have the DVD from Rock and Vida 07 when Farewell Petra was there for the first reunion.

I was wondering though: will Paul be making the trip or is Cristian replacing him again?

How do I get this Rock and Vida 07 dvd?

Paul's not available, so Cristian will be coming.

Timbo, the '07 Rock & Vida DVD was only available for sale in Argentina by Rock & Vida. They were not allowed to sell outside of the country. Bob had the rights to sell it elsewhere, and chose to not exercise that option.

They will be taping it again in Dec., so perhaps this one will be available. All depends on how it turns out.

Is there info anywhere on Cristian (full name, previous work, etc.) that I could put on the Wiki? I can't seem to find any info about him anywhere outside the Zone...

I can certainly ask him -- he posts and reads on here on occasion.

His last name is Borneo, born June 29, 1981. He's from Buenos Aires, and has a long list of credentials. I'll let him tell you about that himself!

It took me two years to finally track down a copy of this DVD. It took me a while to find someone who lived in Buenos Aires. He bought it for me and sent it to me. I'd already given up hope on ever getting this DVD, but now I'm probably one of the very few outside of Argentina to actually have this DVD. I think the whole DVD has been uploaded to youtube by a user named givamu , so you can watch the actual footage there.

Here's more info about the DVD: http://www.petrafiles.com/petraspective/clips08.html

Yes I agree with Brent. Even though I think Christian is n honest man who likes to please God with his life and is doing the dream of any Musician Petra fan: "Playing with Petra" and did a good job at it, i think it would have been the right thing for Bob to be a mediator between John and Louie to make peace and get back together finally. Because this thing about just bringing temporary replacements just further depreciates Petra's name and legacy to me. And I know some will say here that this has been a beaten horse already, but to me even bringing John's son-in-law along was a joke and an insult to fans and Louie. It's ridiculous, just to play one more gig? Come on, that is sad and desperate!

Uhmm... this horse is indeed beaten and completely lifeless by now.

The show with Dan on drums (September 2009) wasn't even an official Petra-show. All the official Farewell-reunions this year have featured Cristian, who was second in the 2003 audition after Louie was fired. It would be strange to have a Farewell-reunion with Louie. So I think this makes perfect sense, even though I would have rather seen Paul, because he actually was part of Farewell.
