The Petra Zone

I was just thinking.

What if Greg ends up doing five studio albums and a live album.
And then leaves and John comes in and they do 2 albums and Mark leaves and Ronnie comes in and then they do 5 albums and 4 videos and John L and Bob leave and Jim Cooper and David comes in and so on and so on. Are we going to have a Classic Petra farewll in 2025?

Are we going to have a "Classic, Classic Petra" in 2030?

Well, that would require the guys to still be doing this at 75-80 years old. Might be hoping for a bit much. On the other hand I guess they could prop up their instruments on their walkers.

Also, if you really want to be technical, Greg was involved with six studio albums and a live album, so that would push it out even further.

They can get bionic implants like mick jagger. No need for a walker, just robo yourself on stage. I don't how that man still does it.

On the other hand, as long as they can keep donig it, I'll still support them.

80 year old men are still playing bluegrass every weekend in a shopping mall near you. If they can grass it at 80 surely Petra can Rock it at 80. And if not they can just play Lucas McGraw over and over. I'd bring a lawn chair to that!

I always thought Petra was a ministry that would go on long after John, Bob, Louie, and all of the other guys retired. It may sound odd, but I still haven't given up hope on that.

Yeah, I always hoped john would pass the torch to me. Little did I know he'd just give it back to Greg. However, the dream lives on.
