BTTR Part 2 and 3 Track List Speculation?

Amid rumour that Classic Petra is headed back into the studio next month, what songs do you think will show up on "BTTR 2" and "BTTR 3" for lack of better titles?
If they follow the same format, then we're talking a total of 30 re-dos over the three albums. Given that, it might be easier to look at what songs WON'T be redone, since they only recorded 41 tracks for the original source albums.
So here are my picks for what songs won't be redone:
Visions
Visions Reprise (Doxology)
Computer Brains
Witch Hunt
I Can Be Friends With You
Father of Lights
Never Say Die
Occupy
Voice in the Wind
All Over Me
Killing My Old Man
So that leaves the following for the next two albums:
Chameleon
Pied Piper
Praise Ye the Lord
Stand Up
Judas Kiss
It Is Finished
Disciple (really looking forward to this one)
The Coloring Song
Road to Zion
For Annie
---
Beat the System
Not By Sight
Speak to the Sky
Without Him We Can Do Nothing
GGRARTY
Run For the Prize
Not Of This World
Blinded Eyes
Lift Him Up
Hollow Eyes

I disagree, we will for sure see these 3 that you have in the don't list.
Voice in the Wind
Witch Hunt
Killing My Old Man
These 3 generated controversy in churches and I know Bob will not hestiate to do these again.
One of my favs is Occupy and I would love to hear it again.

I can't see them doing the doxology as I think it was rewritten by Slick, can someone who has access to the album confirm who rewrote this?
They are all good choices, I thought they were going to tour for a year do the 40+ dates before they do this next album right?

Technically, it wasn't rewritten, it was orchestrated.

And yes, it was done by John Slick.
I really hope they're gonna do a new version of All Over Me. It comes close to being my all time favourite Petra song.

I would be surprised if they don't stick with songs that were written by either Bob or Greg as they did with the first one. If that turns out to be the case, then the following songs won't be redone.
The Coloring Song
Road to Zion
Visions (both)
Not By Sight
Occupy
God Gave Rock and Roll To You
That's seven songs right there, so you'd need only four more. If they break that pattern, then I can say that I agree with "don't do" list that BriGuy put up except for two songs. Those would be Never Say Die and Killing My Old Man. I definitely would like to see those done. In their place I would offer up Road to Zion and Hollow Eyes to not be done.

Back in the day(1982) the only song that got more press and radio talk/play than Road to Zion was Judas' Kiss. Road to Zion was easily the 2nd most popular song off of MPTY. It will be redone!!

Assuming they do 10 classics and 2 new songs on the next album:
Morning Star
Killing My Old Man
I Can Be Friends With You
Praise Ye The Lord
Stand Up
Judas' Kiss
All Over Me
Not By Sight
Beat The System
It Is Finished
New Song

My bet is that on future albums they'll do more originals, but another interesting possibility is....
A couple of songs of Back to the Street. It always seemed to me that many (but not all) of those songs were written with GXV in mind.
You are I Am
Thankful Heart
and I would really want to hear Never Say Die remade.

Actually Back To The Street was NOT written with Greg in mind, B

Thankful Heart was written with John Schlitt in mind, IIRC (from an interview - Bob wrote this song and "Don't Let Your Heart Be Hardened" "for" John)

I would love to hear "Morning Star" redone. However I believe they said that these albums would only be remakes from "Never Say Die" to "Beat the System" so that leaves out anything from WWT. The reason for this is because 3 of the bands members were not apart of Petra during that album, only Bob and Greg. Mark's first album with Petra was "Never Say Die and Louie became the drummer just in time for the Never Say Die tour.

Good point, but it could happen. BTTR (the song) was originally done with only GXV, so it's not a big paradigm shift to do Morning Star or anything else on Washes Whiter Than.
Anyhow, these are my Top 10 that I'd like to see redone.

I would like to hear the next albums with a little bit more arregment than the originals...
And... could be some songs from the first 2 Albums or Greg in the begining only sang the songs that he recorded?
(As John sang Rose Colored, Judas Kiss or It is finished, Greg could sing ones from the other Albums)
My list that I would love to hear recorder in 2011 (in 2 Albums):
Get back to the Bible (I love the first part, I would love to hear it in a new version)
God gave Rock.... (1977 version)
With out you I would surely die
Morning star
Deep Love
The Coloring Song
I can be friend with you
Praise Ye the Lord
Stand Up
Not by Sight
Pied Piper (Something between the original and the Never say Dinosaur version)
It is Finished
King Ransom
