The Petra Zone

Hey Guys

Just came back from the PETRA gig in Zurich, Switzerland. It was so great! The hall was full packed with 1500-2000 people. The crowd was so fanatic, PETRA came back on stage twice. Louie had a silver DW kit and Bob had 4 Marshall amps. Greg's voice was unbelievable. I mean this guy turned 61 and sang like a he's in his 20's. The set list was like in Australia but they played "Let everything that has breath" at the end.

After the show I met the whole band and could talk to them a few words. Now i got a signed poster and a cool (Classic) PETRA shirt which i didn't see in the online merch shop. And finally I met my drumming hero Louie Weaver. He was my first inspiration when i began playing drums.

Greg's performance (voice and stage presence) was fantastic! Even he had some problems with his in-ear monitoring.

the boys heaps improved since the Aussie gigs! Of course the more they play live the more confident they get! Now all we need is Greg and Louie to grow their beards back!
