The Petra Zone

I see on the tour schedule (and it was discussed a bit in our Spanish forum) that Petra will be in Bogota, Colombia on April 3.

I might be able to go. It's only an hour and a half or so flight from here. ("Here" being Quito, Ecuador.)

Anyone have more details? Do we need tickets, etc? It says "time TBA" -- when would we expect to know for sure? Is it a "regular" Petra concert or are they some sub-show of a big event? This would help me to decide if it's worth the trip or not.

Could I expect to be able to talk to the guys a bit? I'd give anything for my picture with them -- it would be a great addition to my prayer letter!

As i have listen it would be a good and big show in Bolivar Park.
I am saying this cause I get involved with churchs and people who will bring PETRA to Brazil.

We will have four PETRA SHOWS.

I have to find all my info on concert dates from the net or by fan emails... it makes running the tour section of jws.com very difficult - not to mention frustrating and time -consuming.

Sue, do you even know for sure if the Bogota show info is correct?

If they have incorrect dates on there, something is in bad need of a change.

Someone somewhere should know about this stuff... there is a phone number but I'm not even sure it looks like the right format for Colombia phones... maybe I'll try calling it at some point if no one knows anything.

As for the rest.... I don't know. What I do is this: try to find the promoter/venue website and see if Petra is listed. If they are - then I pretty much know the show is happening.
