Norway is still one of the safest nations on the planet. Add to that a high quality of life and it's still a great place to live.

I'm very glad for this update to reassure us that the plans we understood are still the plans. I am very much looking forward to this second album of remakes and anxious to see what songs will get done, but the album of originals it what I am really waiting for. New originals from this line up will be very awesome.

This is such great news! A brand new Petra album sounds incedible!

I'm assuming that CP2 won't have any new material? If that is the case I would hope that we would get 12 classics. I also hope Not of This World is not on there. Either way I'm looking foward to it this fall.

I asked about whether or not there would be any new songs on Vol. II, so we'll see if I get an answer.

Yeah that's true, but I would rather have 12 classics that were actually recorded and put on Petra albums and then put all new tracks on the all new material album next year.

Ok here it is:

Beat the system
Stand up
Not by sight
Judas' kiss (with long guitar solo).
The Coloring song. A must!
Not of this world
Without Him we can do nothing. This is a must- strong Biblical lyrics
Hollow eyes or Road to Zion
Why should the Father bother?
Praise ye the Lord (full song)/ optional add on the Hallelujah chorus. It does flow nicely on CITAS and again very Biblical.
Occupy
It is Finished. This is also a must. Very strong message and music

Here's mine:

Beat The System
Chameleon
Blinded Eyes
Not Of This World
Voice In The Wind
Road To Zion
God Gave Rock And Roll To You
Occupy
All Over Me
Speak To The Sky
Pied Piper
It Is Finished
Doxology (guitar solo)

no "Judas' Kiss" for me, I don't think that the original can be topped! Just my opinion ;)

Based on what they played live I would guess that these songs would make it:

Judas' Kiss
Without Him We Can Do Nothing
Stand Up
All Over Me

And that would be fine by me. All Over Me is my top favourite of these three albums. Would love to see Occupy includes as well. And then I'd like to see Not Of This World redone the way Galactic Cowboys recorded it on Never Say Dinosaur, but I don't see that happening.

Do not forget they are playing It Is Finished also.

I want:

Beat The System
Not Of This World
It Is Finished
God Gave Rock and Roll to You
Praise Ye The Lord
Binded Eyes
Computer Brains
Speak To The Sky
Never Say Die
Disciple
Run For The Prize
The Coloring Song

Here's a few that I'd like to see make the cut:

Chameleon
Blinded Eyes
Pied Piper
Run for the Prize....just because it screams "38 Special" and I like that kind of stuff.

Oh boy, here we go again. Please don't make this another Mutt Lang and "I don't care about folks outside of my circle of knowledge." A little background http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/38_Special_%28band%29

I hate wiki but at least it gives you an idea.
Enjoy!

I liked 38 Special too back then!! They would have to energize it and do it raunchier to sound like 38 Special, but it could work!
