Great Classic Petra Concert in NH - Aug 4th

I saw Classic Petra at SoulFest in Gilford, NH last night… it was awesome! Was surprised to see so many thousands of people at SoulFest. I didn’t know NH area had so many Christians!
The last time I saw Petra was over 25 years ago with the same 5 guys on the Beat the System tour. Greg was having the time of his life, making jokes and getting the crowd involved. You can tell he loves what he does. Bob was terrific, though he had a microphone in front of him, he didn’t use it a single time. The TBN concert you could see him singing back up, so not sure what was going on there. Louie had drum trouble right before the Judas Kiss song, so Greg had to stall… which was pretty cool! I’ve heard he does a drum solo in Judas Kiss? After the “guitar war” between Bob and John, Greg said “skip to the bridge”… I wonder if this was when his solo was supposed to be? Was disappointed about that!
All in all, very pleased and excited these guys are back together. Can’t wait for Volume 2 and then their album of new material!
Set list:
Bema Seat
Angel of Light
Clean
Second Wind
More Power To Ya
Grave Robber
Adonai
Back to the Rock
God Pleaser
All Over Me
Judas Kiss
It is Finished
Encore:
Stand Up
Without Him We Can Do Nothing (chorus)
Here's some pics!
