So there's a Classic Petra concert at the Boardwalk August 28th (My birthday! )
Who's going other than me?

I will likely be there. I'll drive up from Atlanta and stay with my son. I'm sure you know but this is a free concert. More details here for anyone else thinking of going to this one:

I was driving south of Atlanta last week and heard a commercial for a concert series on Panama City beach. They mentioned Petra (Didn't say Classic). It wasn't even a Christian station.

Awesome! I'm very thankful that it's free... Otherwise I wouldn't be able to go.

Im am wanting to go, but with the prediction of hurricane Irene heading into the coast around that area on Saturday, do you think they will still have the concert Sunday?

Sometimes they have meet and greet type stuff at concerts and that includes backstage passes. Pethead94 mentioned in another thread her dad is a youth pastor and went backstage before for a youth pastor thing, so it might be something like that. You'll have to let us know how it goes, sounds cool. Is your name Stephanie? I think that's what I see in your birthday picture but I'm not sure. That is a wonderful birthday gift.

I think that the Devil is trying to stop Petra from going on... I was watching the Classic Petra concert last night, and I saw how powerful it is (They are most definitely genuine).
They have such an anointing, it's easy to see why the Devil would not want them to go on.

Irene is gone. Petra will continue!

Yeah, it is looking like Irene is heading farther out and bypassing land. Looks like I will still be going along with the family.
