They don't make money selling CDs, especially when it is on video. The most popular thing to do is to offer the CD with the DVD. I doubt they will release it on CD.

So no CD then?
My understanding there will not be a CD for BTTRL; also if they end up doing another Classics album it most likely will be in DL form only.

I won't say physical media is completely a thing of the past, but the last several NEW albums I've bought have been downloaded. I buy CDs at shows sometimes if I want to get an autograph, or if they have some kind of special, but since most of my CDs get opened, ripped, and then stored, there's not much advantage to the physical media.

The one true advantage is the quality of sound; DL does not do the song or artist justice.
