I just got off the phone with John Schlitt. He is very excited performing at the Petra fan convention. He is especially pumped up about performing songs from his soon to be released "The Greater Cause" at the convention. He also mentioned to me that he might have a couple of surprises up his sleeve!
All I know is that May 5th is going to rock!

I just talked to the manager at the Wingate hotel. Calls are coming in everyday regarding the Petra fan convention. If you want a room, you need to book it NOW! The convention is at the hotel!
The Wingate Hotel is offering special hotel room rates for Petheads. The rooms are $69 for a regular room or $99 for a suite.
The Wingate Hotel phone number is 317-243-8310.
When a reservation is made, all you have to do is mention "PC3 Indy". If "PC3 Indy" is not mentioned you will not get the discount.
Reservation cut off date is April 21st.

that's a great price... I was just in Louisville, and we paid $89 for a lousy Sleep Inn, with NOTHING but some dry cereal and toast.

Guys - it's a beautiful hotel, a great way to meet fellow Petheads and look at some great memorabilia, not to mention the original Petra's music & hearing John's new music.

Having been the 'host' of the previous 'Pethead Conventions,' this one is a REAL convention!

This is a Petra "fan" convention. I agree, that It would be nice to see a full blown "Petra" convention; I think that we all know the chances of that happening.

All 'Petra personnel' have been invited.... but without some major funding/backing, there simply isn't available cash to book a Petra concert.
