Here is the deal. Classic Petra w/Greg hour one. Intermission w/videos, interviews etc on the screens. Classic Petra w/John hour two. That is the show. Now, will people come? I would.

So, they would just stick to the 86-87 stuff or would you have Mark fill in for Ronny?

Well, let Mark play the Ronnie stuff too. We would have to keep it simple and two lead singers would be enough.

So how far are you talking about going with this, Wake-Up Call, PP2, or all the way to JAH? This sounds like a good option for the PC3 thing, scrap the solo stuff!

I wouldn't worry about it. They are still doing shows and the last we heard they are being courted for a record deal. There is no bad news that I can see in any of that. Classic Petra is just fine the way it is, no sense in messing with it. A one off show with John would be great, but John should spend some time now as his own man. I think it will be better for him and us as we will get great new music from him. He doesn't have the chops anymore to re-sing his old stuff and do it justice, so if they were to do anything with the old John albums, I'd rather just hear them be remixed.

They have had offers before, contingent upon new music. They have had distribution. Let's see what the deal actually turns out to be.

I wish those old vocal tracks could be found, transferred into PT and then mixed with all new music, with real drums. Well....todays real drums.
Since you brought up John's now vs then voice, I would point out that CP has tuned down a bit to give Greg some room. So, both tuning down would not be a bad deal. I would not be worried about John singing. I would be more worried about Bob being able to play the same riffs and solos. Things tend to get simplified as players age.

Search "Judas' Kiss Live" (the one with John singing) and compare Bob's solo to the original one. I think the new version is just as good or better, so I wouldn't worry about Bob.

Mr. Magic Fingers can still beat the pants off any other player, at least in my books!
Yes, I am biased... you couldn't tell, could you? LOL
