The Petra Zone

We are trying to gather up the $90 it will take to get us to go to the Dallas show, just want to know who is planning on being at the Dallas show. According 89.7 Power Rock there are still plenty of seats available about only 300 or so have been sold.

how big is the venue? I might go I need a break. doesn't look like they will be making it to AZ as they never got back to my church.

I'm going to the San Antonio show, but I can tell you this, I haven't heard any publicity, so it'll probably be a couple of hundred of us at the show, but I will stil enjoy it.

Wish they could get more ads out (KLTY would be a good starting point).

The Farewell concert in Irving had a good crowd a few years ago, so I know there is potential in Dallas.

89.7 PowerFM has the ad in heavy airplay and are also giving tickets, back stage passes, and tshirts. KLTY is no longer a CCM station.

I called again today to see how sales were going and I was told they've seen an increase but its going slow, the promoter said it looks like Houston and San Antonio are doing better but not by much; he is expecting to loose money on the Dallas date.

I wanted nothing more than one more chance to see Petra- then they scheduled Houston on a Friday in November. I can't do a weeknight in November- ahh the cruelty! Also, I have heard absolutely ZILCH about this show. A shame too since Hobby Center is a great venue.

Friday night is considered a weekend night not a week night. You haven't heard anything on KSBJ? Texas is a hot bed for concerts and tours so what's up?

But they rescheduled Houston for Feb. 3rd, right? That's still a Friday though. Maybe if you plan in advance you can go?

Rescheduled? shoot I just worked out a deal to get the day off. Feb. is no problem- I just can't take of during November. Looks like I'm gonna see Petra! Jan- you are my favorite Pethead right now.

Wow, I'm so honored! The Petra facebook pg. said it will be at Hobby Center's Zilkha Hall and tickets will go on sale in the next few days. That was posted Wednesday, so any day I guess.
