Petra Accompaniment Music

I can't seem to find very many accompaniment songs from Petra. I'm especially looking for a couple of songs I had years ago that I've lost. So I know they were made at one time. One is "prayer" and the other is "don't let your heart be hardened." Does anyone know where I can get these is in accompaniment format or does anyone have a copy of these? I'm willing to pay good for them.

Thank you so much p-freak! You just made my day...no...you just made my week. If you know anyone that would happen to have 'Prayer' please give me a holler. I would absolutely love to have that one.

Does anyone have a link where I could download an accompaniment version of my all-time favorite Petra song, "More Power to Ya"? I've searched everywhere and can't find it. I've been wanting to sing it in church for a while now but really want the original soundtrack accompaniment if it's available. Thanks!

It's not good quality, but it's the best we have.

I'm sure John has PRAYER but his tracks are the high-end performance quality versions... and not cheap. Email me if you're interested: sue@johnwschlitt.com

Hey, I know this is an old thread but I wanted to contribute....

P-freak, I have some Petra trax on cassette if you're interested. I'm looking thru my collection, and I have the Rock Trax tape of Back To The Street. I know I have some others and when I find them I'll list them.

I also have some mp3s of Petra's accompaniment trax including the ones to Whole World and More Power To Ya found on here. I was able to "repair" these mp3 tracks using Audacity. They're not perfect, but they sound better and are more useable.

I noticed the track to "Whole World" skipped and I think what happened is that during the transfer process by Star Song (or whoever produced the tapes), the master they used must have skipped and they didn't notice it, since a cassette tape cannot skip like this. (A record or CD could, so perhaps they used that during the transfer...) Chances are many cassette copies were made with this problem, which also explains why the track skips in the same places even from 2 different sources. It happens occasionally and it's not the first time I've heard of this happening. Fortunately, I was able to "fudge" & piece together some of the skipped portions using sections of the track. I also adjusted the pitch & did some minor noise removal. It took some time, but now the 2 songs listed above sound better. If you're interested in these let me know.

The only version of that one I have is an old karaoke track by Pocket Songs.
I also have a track (karaoke version) to Armed And Dangerous, also by Pocket Songs. The cassette is long out of print, and I don't think I have it anymore due to age, but I did retain some of the harder to find tracks.

So what quality were the "Pocket Songs" accompianments? Were they cheesy versions of the band's song or just like the band's version? The above has Petra and Mylon LeFevre songs on it ... still in print it seems.

Nvm, they have samples at the bottom.
