H2O Confirmed

I've confirmed with Scott Huie that H2O is indeed working on spring concerts right now and I've begun discussions with him about doing something in Atlanta. I don't know what is and is not approved for public discussion so I'm not going to go into details. However, I will tell you that the initial numbers discussed are not even close to what was being floated around before. If this truly is a reduction in the costs to put on a show than this should help matters greatly.
Now, for those of you that want to find controversy everywhere you look, I don't see any here. I've been around business ventures my entire working career and I can tell you I see nothing out of the ordinary here. When projections are not realized the business plan is modified, staff is adjusted, you retool and move in a different direction. You can chose to make of it what you will, and I'll choose to hope and pray for the best for my brothers.

Thanks for the info, BForm. Please keep us informed. I, for one, want Classic to succeed and I'm looking forward to seeing them in concert soon. Atlanta isn't that far from me. If your show works out with them, I'll probably fly up there.

Were they ever actually listed on there? I've never looked at the site before so I'm not sure.

No. They were never listed. Only emails were sent. Right now there doesn't seem to be any sense of urgency so I've decided to wait for them to become more aggressive. I'm hoping when they are ready we'll all know it.

No your wrong B, The site had them, I remember because both they and the Imperials now call them selves “Classic”

An email just went out yesterday with all of Huie's roster.... here's the text for CP:
H2O Artist Agency is proud to announce the signing of CLASSIC PETRA for worldwide representation effective immediately. As the pioneers of the Christian rock and contemporary Christian music genres, Petra paved the way with their arena rock sound that revolutionized Christian music beginning in the early 80s. Over their illustrious career spanning now five decades, Petra has released 24 albums, selling nearly 10 million copies. With four Grammys and 10 Dove Awards, inductions into both the Hard Rock Café and the Gospel Music Hall of Fame, they have had more #1 radio hits than the stars, and have now reunited the original lineup of Greg Volz, Bob Hartman, Mark Kelly, John Lawry, and Louie Weaver to bring their classic rock sound to people all around the world with a message of hope and healing. Great for churches, fairs, festivals, schools, and theatres. Call today to bring this show in to your community.
I don't know, but if I were Glover, DeGroff & Hough I think I'd be a little taken aback by the phrase "and have now reunited the original lineup."

Well, Classic Petra is the first one that anyone really heard or cared about back then. Remember, Bob was ready to quit after Never Say Die. The band really did not get out of the theater venues until BTS. THAT is the version people affiliate with success, like it or not.

No, I don't remember. That was way before my time (christian music-wise).
I know what you're saying, but what about Slick? I've seen photos of him out & about on stage also.
But since the real original line-up (GHF) is still performing here & there (like at PC3 Indy), THEY are the original line-up, really.

Sorry but Classic Petra is the original Petra to me since that is the version I heard first.

If the original Petra is the first I've heard, certainly to me is the Dream Team, the first time I heard the band.
What to me is really Petra, Greg is a thing of the past!
Just my opinion!
