I don't know why, but my itunes won't import the new album. I have them all on my computer, and can see it when I go to import them, but when I select them and hit ok, it doesn't do anything, or at least I can't find them. It doesn't show up under artist or album and I'm getting frustrated (I hate this part of apple products...I can access the files through Windows Media Player). And of course, lovely Apple, there's no other way to get it on my ipode other than through itunes. Help!

Are you running out of hard drive space? Go to your iTunes music file and click "get info". There is no reason for iTunes failing to import wav files, or anything else for that matter. Maybe you should import one at a time and see if that works.

You just need to use this mouse to be able to do it:

Thanks Brent...I found it! It actually had imported them, but with only the song titles so it was lost in the abyss of "unkown" music files in the library. Were they not coded with the track information? I had to manually add the artist and album info, and now it shows up in my library with John's other stuff. I'm kind of new to Apple products...I'm used to just "drag and drop" type of mp3 players. Thanks for the quick response!

We know - The encoding wasn't done yet... John really, REALLY wanted to get these tracks out to The Crew before the end of the year, so with so many engineering-type folks on Christmas vacation - some of those types of things didn't get done in time. Sorry about that....

It's a big file...I got it downloaded onto my computer this morning and copied it onto a flash drive and am making a CD.

They did a smart thing not encoding meta data. This way, if they get out on the net, there will be a cold chance in "you know where" that they will be tagged and re-distributed.

Definitely no need to be sorry Sue, my frustration was with iTunes

. I've since put it on my iPod and made a cd for home/car, and this album freakin rocks! Honestly, it's better than shake and Unfit, and I love both those albums. It is so fresh and he sounds so good and cool! I've also gotta hand it do Dan for his part in making an authentic rock record. I think his could do well with secular rock listeners too...it's great rock-n-roll!
