Here's the PREVIEW:

I got this from the videographer, John's long-time friend who has since passed away. His name was German Arbaelez (I'll have to check on the spelling of that), and you see him in the last few seconds of the preview.

He was part of John's road crew (manager) following John's Head East days when he formed Johnny Band... he pretty much took care of John during his "24-hour high" binges while on the road. Lots of stories there, folks...

German lived in CA and was big into the Hollywood scene for many years. When John joined up with Petra, they filmed this so John's kids could see what their daddy was doing out in CA.

There IS one mistake that we're correcting: the studio was in Los Alamitos, not Long Beach (it was listed as long beach on the original DVD by German, and I've also seen that city listed online. But according to John Elefante (who ought to know!) the city really was Los Alamitos.

It's 30 minutes long, and very cool to watch! John's a real cut-up in the vid... I found myself laughing so hard at some of the points... if you want to know what German means when he says "the check's in the mail" you'll have to buy it!

I've got to get this, that voice singing "Whole World" gives me the chills. Anyone notice that Louie is not around and not in the credits?

I was always under the impression that Louie didn't play on BTTS that it was synth drums. I may be wrong though

John's vocals on solo... wow! Mark Kelly is such a great vocalist.

I would give anything to see this lineup record again.

YES! I'm definitely getting this. This is so very cool. I would get it even if it was more than $20. John was 36 then, he looks much younger!! I have 2 questions: the backup singers - the one on the far right with the amazing voice - is it John Elefante? And, why are the words "safe within" cut out of John's part (safe within his hands, until it's own appointed hour). I LOVED hearing him sing a cappella!!!

That was very interesting, Sue, about the videographer - Head East, binges. Sad he is no longer with us.

Gotta love the old Caravan. I used to have one of those. Heck, I still have one but this one is a much newer version.

I'm guessing that since this was a vocal session - a drummer would not need to be there.

yes! He's doing a Kickstarter campaign right now for a new album.... I've been helping him out some too - he's really kickin'! Has some pretty cool rewards too.

I've ordered it...It is a definite must have. Long Beach and Los Alamitos aren't that far apart--Los Alamitos is just a few miles south of Long Beach. I don't live very far from there.

It looks like it is very funny from the preview, I'm looking forward to it.

We owned a 1997 Caravan after 352,000 miles finally traded it for a car and have missed it everyday.
