Remastered and expanded edition of Back To The Rock Live. If you've recently bought Back To The Rock Live, you're supposed to get the download for this one for free. I didn't get an e-mail for that yet, but I'll need the CD anyway.

Ah! No fades!!

Yes, I snatched up the original for $5.99 this weekend using the facebook special announcement. Came with an instant download, a physical cd, and then last night i received an email with the download link for the expanded version. And yes, it is a better version of the live release, including the sections between the tracks where the band members talk. Quite a deal for $5.99. I like it a lot.

Any word on those of us who spent $10 last year for the digital download of BTTR live?

I sent a message to the admin of the Facebook page and within 5 minutes had the email with the link to the new downloads, so they must be honoring those purchases made orginally through the old website back when they first released the BTTR Live downloads.

I wrote Dean (Classic Petra) on Facebook and he was quick to give me the link too. I purchased the original download last year on iTunes. I am thrilled to have been included in the upgrade!

Ok, this "CD" (download, album, whatever) sounds more live. If there are studio tracks in there, they are way back in the mix. I definitely hear live guitar, keys, GXV vocals, etc. This recording, of a band that hasn't played together in forever, is good to have. I don't have the DVD because I recorded the show on my DVR. I guess I will buy it now...and download this.

I jsut wish the Blu Ray had been available when I bought the DVD. Oh well... =)

I bought BTTR Live off of iTunes - adpetrafan, how do I contact Dean exactly? Is FB the only option (I'm not on it )?

Brent: You're comments are very encouraging - though to be honest it wouldn't take much to be a better live album than the original BTTR Live. I liked it - I just couldn't always tell which one I was listening to (live or studio).

Honestly, ich bought the new version for one reason: the physical CD shipped free worldwide. Just for the download I wouldn´t have paid extra 10 $. But now they ship me the CD to Germany. Thats worth it.

I'm not 100% happy with the BTTR Live(first version) but I like it enough not to spend anymore money on a slightly more live version.

I LOVE this new version and as I listen to it, I can't believe these guys are not the biggest thing out here right now. This is great stuff! =)

I got it! It sounds incredible now. There are even new live keyboard solos, and the live feel is great. I have it on my Android phone and it sounds great with the concert hall effect of my phone media player!

Listening to the web preview and it sounds like an honest to goodness live album. Might actually be worth buying now.
