The Petra Zone

So I got the CD in the mail last week. I actually really like it. Of course as a metalhead, I wish it rocked a little more. Took a while to grow on me, but I like most of the songs on the CD a lot and only a couple I would skip (mostly the last 2). But hey, it's definitely worlds ahead of The Grafting (which I liked as well).

I'd have to say that out of all the songs on the album, "Take Me Home" is definitely my favorite song. It just rocks and I wish the whole album sounded like that. Love that guitar tone...amazing.

I'm with you; "Take Me Home" & "One of These Days" are my 2 favorites as of now. I also like the doubled sided meaning on "Love Won't Leave Me Alone".

Love Won't Leave Me Alone is still my favorite - has been since the first time I heard it.

It's still Hope That Saves the World for me. I doubt that will change. The rest of the album is good to me, but that song is great. I never get tired of it. It's even worthy of Petra in my opinion.

I agree. This is definitely my favorite although I really like "Faith & Freedom" and "One of These Days" too. Actually, the only song I don't particularly like is "Live it Loud" and I don't hate it.

I've been listening to alot of "Run" and "The Gift" and really have caught on to these two songs. The guitar work on "The Gift" works really well with John's vocals; this is the best I've ever heard John on a ballad and you can feel the true emotion in John's vocals.
