Hmmm.... this brings to mind an exchange I had with brent in another thread:

It will not sound better. Remastered usually = removing all of the dynamic range by smashing the liven'-crap out of it with a limiter, and then EQ'ing it to put some top end and low end back into it, giving it a "modern" curve.

In light of recent discussions about the production quality of older Petra albums, I'm fairly certain that some fans here will love it.

I'm spending my dollars elsewhere. I listened to some clips and felt like it sounds the same with some distortion in the background. The actual band(except for maybe Bob) are getting nothing from this, so I see no reason to buy it.

I can't help the fact that nearly all of Petra's best material is owned by someone other than Bob. That doesn't play into my opinion of the sound anyhow.

I've never been a fan of Clean, but a lot of folks DO like it so I understand why it is considered a hit. WHat I dislike most about it is the part where greg screams "Hey, I'm talkin to you!" Ugh- that sounds so....sissy. However as much as I dislike Clean as a studio cut I will admit that it is a good song to hear live. Bema Seat is OK for me. Certainly not their best but still it is a good song.

I LOVE Bema Seat and Clean; they are two of the best Greg X. Volz era Petra songs IMO.
