Wow! If some folks had trouble with the song, they'll really flip over the video. Personally, I thought it was great.

That's the first thing I thought also, some will flip over this; IMO I thought it was awesome. Loved the Reagan speech.

ughhhh....

Way too many quotes...it's almost ridiculous. And Romney? Why on Earth is a presidential candidate in the video? Nice effect making video look film.

Looks very nice, but I think it could use a little more of the fake band rehearsal in a warehouse. That stuff looked the best.

I will say that I think the quotes went on a little too long with the same music looping over and over again. I think the first three quotes, ending with Reagan would have been sufficient to make the point.

I kind of didn't have any big objections to the songs and I can see why the video would appeal to many Americans. It's well done and it makes its point in an excellent way. But I gotta agree with Rex. What's Romney doing there? If he doesn't get elected this video will get old very, very soon. I don't think all those quotes were necessary to make the point and I'm glad I don't know the context of those quotes. I probably wouldn't agree with the point that Bush Sr. and/or Bush Jr. were making in those speeches. So for me some minor glitches and something that will mainly appeal to Americans, but definitely not something that would freak me out. I have much more problems with the idea behind The Cross Remains, but that's a different story that has already been told and doesn't have to be repeated here.

Just wondering, who's the guy to whom the video is dedicated? Is he famous or a relative of John or the Sekulows? And who are the guys in the band? Wasn't it Jay Sekulow playing drums, or is it Logan? Don't know their faces well enough to see which one it is. I watched a couple of episodes of the Logan show a couple of years ago, but I'd never made the connection between Jay and Logan. Partly because I hadn't heard about Jay at the time, but also because I'd never realized that Logan's last name is Sekulow.

I love the video and am already promoting it. However, although I think quotes from former Presidents are appropriate, when Romney was quoted I thought that crossed the line. It is clear that either John or the ACLJ are pinning their hopes on Romney to return America to it's purest values. I think that's a mistake.

Having said that I certainly understand the temptation to use this song for political purposes. Barack Obama is simply the scariest thing that has ever happened to our nation, and getting him out of office can easily seem like the most important task at hand. However, as bad as he is for our country, he's nothing more than a symptom. He is not the problem. The problem is the people on the streets. If we had not become a nation of fools a man like Barack Obama would never have had a chance.

For those of you who are not US citizens, I want to clarify what I mean by "purest" values. Not all of the values that our culture has held are what I would consider Christian. Certainly the "value" that every woman has the "right" to snuff out the life of her unborn child is not of God. The value that black men did not have the same rights as white was not of God. However, anyone who reads the writings of our founding fathers and not our polluted public school history books will soon see that the best that America has to offer came about because of the influence of scripture. As the Bible's influence over our culture weakens, our freedoms will disappear as well. Hence the title of the song "Faith & Freedom".

On another note, it appears the video has been posted twice on YouTube. Between the two of them it already has 1,000 views. That's pretty exciting. And it hasn't even been shown on Huckabee yet! Sue, when's that gonna happen?

I was kind of put off on Romney being in there, and would think that ACLJ probably had the final word on it because they are financing the video. I'm not sold on Romney, but that is for another thread in Off Topics. Overall its a great video and this could really get John the exposure that he needs.

I can understand, due to misinformation and the culture of hatred that has come from it, why some people say they have a problem with Bush Jr., but it's very hard for me to understand why people would have such a problem with Bush Sr. His biggest mistake was allowing the Democrats to raise taxes. Other than that, he was an excellent president.

Oh, I'm pretty sure they are. Not to say he was an excellent president. He did plenty of stuff I didn't like. What happened today is just another reminder that he was not very strong as a conservative, but he was no where near the devil that the left and the media made him out to be.

Oh I hardly think the people on the right made him out to be a savior. Pretty sure you are confusing presidents. Now Obama, he was treated as a savior by the left and by the media and still is in many ways. He was easily the most unqualified and least experienced person to ever be elected with clear ties to socialist and communist movers and shakers, but everyone was willing to turn a blind eye and elected him based on his race and the fact that he promised the moon. People actually believed they would no longer have to pay for rent, gas or college. Even Hillary Clinton commented on the Messiah like treatment he was given. Bush never had anything close to that and was routinely criticized by true conservatives, hated by the media and Hollywood dreamed of his assignation. The only hatred I've seen of politician to rival was laid on Bush was that which was laid on Sarah Palin. The left are a disgraceful lot. The kind of people who rejoice when someone on the right gets cancer or meets with some other tragic fate. Nice to know you seem to feel at home among them.
