I've just finished updating the page on my website for Petra's self-titled album. It features scans/pictures of all relevant items from my collection. This is what every album-page eventually will look like. It's going to take a long time to get them all up there, but the first one is finished.

You've missed your calling, my brother. You need to run a Petra museum. Show of hands please?

Updated the page for Come And Join Us (1977): http://www.petrafiles.com/petraspective ... oinus.html

Still looking for the Word/Epic cassette release of Come And Join Us. If you have it, please send me pictures and/or sell it to me!

If you have any other releases that are not on this page, please let me know as well. Striving for completion.

Ok, P-Freak is THE P-Freak. You are insane dude. Bob has to be proud. They should just put a link on the Petra band site and redirect to yours.

I like it. I'm listening to Come & Join Us right now, very underated album. It's in Petra's top 10 for me.

At least John Schlitt links to a lot of p-freaks stuff from his official site! It's great to have this historical stuff online! There's a lot of work behind p-freaks collections!

Thank you again for your great petraspective web site !

Where would the world be without p-freak and trodLAN?

These two pages were actually the easy ones, because Myrrh didn't have any international distribution deal at the time. These albums were first released in Europe in 1985 on cassette and only in 1995 on CD.

Star Song did have international distribution deals so most of the Star Song albums have separate UK, Canadian and Australian releases, some on both Star Song and A&M Records, and some of those albums even have New Zealand and Brazilian releases. I think I have 20 different vinyl/cassette/CD releases for Not Of This World. That's where it gets crazy...

Hey man, I wish I still had my original cassette of this Petra album, because it would have been added to your collection if I did. My old cassette had the old paper labels on the cassette and side 1 was a white shell and side 2 was a black shell.

p-freak, if you'd like contributions for the guitar chords pages (nice touch including those, by the way) for any of the music, let me know - I have most of them figured out in my head and it's about time I got them down (the songbook transcriptions are helpful but not particularly accurate in my experience - and there's some flat out wrong chords in the PP2 "booklet" and in some of the older songooks as well).

Fantastic work on the site! Too few classic Christian bands have this sort of research and documentation preserved; this is an awesome resource. 8)
