John sharing a Hukabee video on Facebook

It's stuff like that which makes me want to stop following John on facebook. Great to hear about wood working projects, fun to see tour travels, but leave the politics out.

Hukabee forgot an important verse. Matthew 25:40 is clear, God remains with the poor and needy. It would be a scary world if you could evict God. For more info, see: http://rachelheldevans.com/blog/god-kept-out

Oh! So as Christians we should leave politics out of our opinions? BTW God has been evicted from our schools some 50 years back. Huckabeee comments & video were in full support of the Christian Faith, so as a Christian why would you have a problem with his statement?

This week my 5 yr old daughter is learning about Hanukkah & Kwanzaa in school, but when shee mentioned Christmas to the teacher the teacher said she needs can't talk about that until school is over.

I know what your saying and yes you are correct on a personal level God is there, but even those cases are fast becoming fewer by the year. I'm proud of John for standing up and saying this. My 17 yr old son said this year for the first time in school he is seeing a huge following of students coming together as Atheists; in the past the Atheists never spoke up out of fear of backlash but now its the Christians in the schools that are going into hiding not only because of backlash from fellow students but backlash from the school districts themselves. Remember God will not push His way in; He has to be invited, and fewer are inviting him.

Lets get back to the original topic and I ask again why would any Christian have a problem with the Huckabee video & John supporting the video?

Well, if we stopped following people on facebook every time they posted something we don't necessarily agree with, we'd be in trouble.

By the way, in case anyone has forgotten...John does have people who help him with his facebook account. He doesn't post all that stuff himself...Although I am pretty sure they wouldn't post stuff without running it by him first. I'm guessing he'd probably have their hides if they did. There is always the option to hide posts you don't want to see in your newsfeed too. Just sayin'.
