Please understand that On Fire is not a Petra concert. This is a Pethead (Petra fan) convention.

Headlining On Fire will be II Guys from Petra, John Schlitt & and Bob Hartman! Yes, I said Bob Hartman!

I am very happy to announce that GHF - John DeGroff, Bill Glover, Greg Hough will be co-headlining the event! They will be playing their own original material as well as a full set of Petra classics! They will also be playing songs from their brand new CD GHF VOL 1!

Singer-songwriter Sam Scales will making her return to Indianapolis. Singer Tawana will be making her Indiana debut at On FIre!

II GUYS are back!

And here's another kinda cool thing: Steven Billings will be performing songs from his 2nd release, "Old Luggage," which will be out by then. Steve has a duet with John on the CD - and perhaps they'll sing it there. When Steve was a kid at bible camp - guess who his camp counselor was? Yup, none other than Mr. Bob! I bet Steve could tell some interesting stories!

So who's coming? Anyone bought their tickets yet?

If it`s God`s will that I go I`ll go , next week I will start my visa renew process, it might take a month or two months but I say it if it`s God`s will I`ll go because maybe there won`t be tickets anymore hehehehe, when I get everything ready I`ll check here about hotel, tickets and if there`s still a place available I`ll go

But can he get Bob to play with GHF and perform a couple of original Petra tunes with the original line-up? Now that would be amazing. Or even the original line-up with John as lead singer? That would be a lot of fun. We could finally hear John sing Lucas McGraw.

last year the tickets were $20 for the convention this year $42, is the additional $22 because of Hartman's appearance?
I had someone approach me that wants to go, but pricing is holding them back flights/hotel/tickets. What can I say to explain the costing?
Still hoping to go this year with my wife and baby.

Daniel, It’s actually quite simple, my cost went up. A lot of things that were copmed last year are not being comped this year. I have to cover the cost some how. Understand that I don’t make one penny on this event. I just want to break even. When I did the math and realized that the ticket price had to go up, I decided to make it a two day event. $42 for a 2 day living room style convention is steel!
There is no corporate sponsor. This is a fan driven event. I certainly can not afford to put it on by myself.
Everyone asked me to do the convention again this year, so I am. Just about everyone asked me to see if I could get Bob Hartman. So I am making that happen as well. And as you know, nothing is free.
To help me keep the cost down the hotel is giving big discounts to the convention goers, $69 for a regular room and only $99 for a suite!
Considering how small and intimate this event is, I feel that $42 is a bargain.

Yes, it's more than last year. But as Rob said: everything goes up in price, mainly because he doesn't have the comps like he did, and the musical line-up is expanding as well.
