I've been listening to Petras music since 85. There ministry moves my heart with the goodness of god. These song are prayers thru my work day where I can armor myself against this fallen world.
Petra and Keith Green music is all I care to listen to. I've worn out a lot of tapes and cd's over the years. I bought all my favorite songs online and burn my own cd's as they get scratched up. They'll never be another Petra. They, with the blessing of God, have set the bar too high.
I bought a banjo and I've been learning Foggy mountian breakdown, Cripple creek and working on some others. My guitar has been collecting dust for years. I thought about trying to learn to play Petra songs many times but never did it. I'm getting somewhere with this banjo, working with tabs and watching utube videos so I dusted off my guitar, tune it up and I'm working on the intro to Grave Robber now. I was looking at some utube video, trying to find one, of Bobs right hand finger placement, when I came across this forum. It's really great to know that I'm not alone!
