The infuence of Petra

Post by blayze5150 » Sat Mar 30, 2013 2:48 pm

This is really silly, but I thought it was cool! I just finished changing the strings on my Yellow Ibanez and was sitting on my couch jamming a little unplugged. I happened to glance over at the TV (which was off) and saw my reflection. I was taken back for a second, because the bearded guy in the TV looked like Bob Hartman on the Beyond Belief tour playing that yellow Zion! I certainly don't compare myself to Bob (I'm not even as good as Pete Orta!), but it was still kinda cool. It's amazing how much being a Petra fan has influenced my life, apparantly even subconsciously!

I believe I was listening to Praying Man, and that was what made me figure, "Eh, what the hey, I'll play drums now."

I have yet to rocket to international stardom.
