As far as Studio production goes, is this just Bob and John or is the rest of the band on it? and where was it recorded?

I've seen where Greg Bailey was there laying down BGV's but nothing else was said about anything else.

either the song's changed name or they scrapped "Still Thirsty" in the end and went with a new song "Holy Are You Lord".

Also the song list has changed slightly.

interestingly this collection doesnt seem to contain any Greg X Volz written songs all of sudden (as opposed to the 2CD Ultimate Collection 2006).

Oh and also - the release date has been pushed back to July 30

No plethora of Volz songs could be for many reasons of course, but I suspect that they had to consider only songs from John because Classic Petra just happened. Plus, these songs were Bob's picks.

I will buy the download of the new tune, but will not buy the package. There are too many of these already, plus I have the originals which are going to sound better than anything they put out now, because they had first gen mix and masters to make the originals, and now they will likely overcompress and distort the tunes like some idiot did on the last remasters.

If the sales of this determine future Petra investment and product release, I think everyone will be disappointed. People are not going to run out and drop a bunch of cash to buy music they already have, or to buy music they already have to hear a new song or two. I know this is what companies and bands do now, but it hardly ever results in sales that rival a new record with new music.

Holy Are You Lord.

Obviously Still Thirsty didn't work out :(
We've got the scoop before Sue this time :)

Actually wished they'd gone with more John songs as he was lead singer for longer. Bema seat is on classic Petra and on here too.

Should have had about 8 Greg sung tracks then the rest John songs. Where's love and no doubt and mine field and right place?

Another P&W song? I know I can't judge a song by its title (or can I?), but I liked the title "Still Thirsty" better
