The Petra Zone

Did anybody notice that Paul Simmons is no longer with the Reverend Horton Heat band? He could definitely be touring with Petra now if they ask I think. Right?

Paul works with another band now, and Petra has Cristian working with them.

I've seen them live with both Paul and Christian. While I appreciate Paul's abilities on the kit, I think in many ways, Cristian is a better fit. Plus I know he is really excited to play with Petra.

I agree! I also feel Christan is most likely the best drummer Petra has had with the other 3 being pretty even. Has anyone ever watched Christan's You Tube videos they really show his greatness. BTW Paul hasn't been touring with The Rev Heat since I believe 2011, but is in great demand so coming back around for Petra probably would be somewhat hard.

I think Paul should be brought back asap.

Paul brought a lot of flair, but at times it was at the expense of rock solid timing. At one of the shows, I wtched Bob turn around and give the Paul the "c'mon hold it together man" look. I've been in bands, and have seen enough bands to know when someone is trying to keep the drummer on track. I'll take Cristian because he keeps it tight, he's got a passion for the music, and he graces us with his presence on the Zone from time to time.
