Washes Whiter Than Missing Tracks

I recently purchased a mint copy of Washes Whiter Than on vinyl and have made beautiful sounding, clean transfers of the two tracks that were omitted from the CD reissue of the album.
As these songs have now been effectively unavailable for over 30 years and are unlikely to ever be re-released, I would like to make my transfers available to the Petra community here, if allowed.

I always assumed these tracks were dropped because they were Rob Frazer vocals and to keep the disc more gxv also so they could fit wwt and nsd on one disc. These are great songs.

They had to drop some tracks anyway because of capacity limitations on CDs in 1988.

That could well be a reason. They probably sounded less Petra than the other tracks.

Thanks! I did have other recorded versions, but I won't pass up on an opportunity to get a different/better version.

These 2 old songs are < the other tracks on Washes Whiter Than but > the new singles released so far from the Union of Sinners & Saints. Fight me!

The whole album was not very Petra-like. Not that DT and Revival were either.

I think I Still Believe was a cover. Anyway, I thought I Still Believe and One More Shot were good, though not extraordinary.

I've only ever had this album as part of the double CD along with Never Say Die, so I don't think I've heard these songs before.

I would personally consider 'Without You' and 'Magic Words' far more Petra sounding than something like 'Taste and See', (which is still a cool track, but then I'm partial to a bit of funk when the mood takes me!).

WWT was certainly a huge change in direction from the hard blues-rock of the first two albums...and neither of those LPs sound anything like Petra was to become either. WWT, whilst very mellow, shows clear indications of where the band's sound was heading later on though. Personally, it's one of my favourite Petra albums and definitely one of my 'go to' albums when I want to 'chill out'. The beautiful guitar solo on '(Couldn't Find Love) Without You' is one of Bob's greatest imho.
