Here's another one not mentioned. Liaison. They had some killer albums. I thought the Cool Water album had a 38 Special vibe to it. They were great live. Their left handed drummer was so good. Great footwork and groove.
I played in a cover band, and He Smiled was one of our set list staples. The drum break in the middle was fun. It was trip to get the singers to recognize that the music stops on the off beat, and to count so that they would come in correctly.

Yes, hands up in the air & 40 watt city are the only ones I have heard but Jag is so forgotten 8)

Them too! I'm sad Cool Water, which is my favorite album of theirs isn't even on Spotify and I think that's the only one missing :roll:

Also according to Discogs, John Slick is a player on the first Twenty Twenty album. A detail I definitely forgot, as I have not had a physical copy for quite a while.
