CPR in Palmer Lake, CO

Post by GabrielHansberry » Mon Nov 04, 2019 1:33 am

Was able to go to a Petra concert for the first time! (Classic Petra "Revival", as they call it now) The venue was the Tri Lakes Center for the Arts, which is a tiny building in the middle of nowhere. There were about 100 people total, which was about the most that would fit anyway, but it was still a lively group. Greg X, John L, Greg B, Kirk Henderson, and Louie were all there. They were all amazing, Louie Weaver particularly so! It's great to still be able to see these guys live, even if they aren't what they once were.

Also got to touch base with John L., which is always a good experience!

Ok...how many of you tech guys are cringing like me? Those speakers aren't EVEN covering that room properly because they are mounted on their sides and the horns are sideways. Additionally, it doesn't appear they are using swivel rings, so the eyebolts are incorreclty operasting at 50% of their load capacity. While they probably won't fall, I wouldn't want to be under them in a seismic shift.

Ok. Tech nerd time over. This is why my wife doesn't like to go with me to shows. :P

Lol sounds like my mom. My dad isn't super tech nerd necessarily but if he knows a bit about something he'll let you know!
And that could take 15 minutes or 150 he likes to go and on
