For a moment it was reading past tense like he passed away. I wasn't ready for that kind of news today.

This is something I have given some thought to. Do we know if there are any past members who have passed away? None come to my mind, thankfully.

Yeah I didn't even know about him and I've been a fan since 1980. My apologies, did not intend to give the wrong idea. Though the piece is short I spent a lot of time trying to find a way to explain the impact that Bobs career with Petra has had on all of us, while at the same time presenting a challenge for us to do the same in our world- and keeping it concise. Next time, I’ll be more cautious with the wording.
He is truly amazing and gifted and God has used him in so many ways.....

Bob is an interesting character. He's an extremely talented guy, great song writer, great guitar player, a better than average singer, yet there are a lot of people who probably have no idea who is, and I get the sense that he's perfectly fine with that.
