My peronal remasters of the first two albums and CITAS, (from cassette), have been done with the same software and sound pretty darn good too.
Is this still available from some where? I'd love to get a good, clean version of the cassette cut of this concert. I have the CD and DVD version but no longer have the cassette available.

Does the new version of This Means War fix the cut off drum intro for He Came He Saw He Conquered? The cassette has four snare hits but the original CD has like 2.5 snare hits.
The remastered CD apparently doesn't, but it looks like the Petra Means Rock CD has all four snare hits, based on the YouTube version: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_Y3co3Zx804

Edit: Rock Block and Petra: The Ultimate Collection also seem to have all 4 snare hits. (Rock Block's version sounds the best to me so far, at least with my phone speakers. Ultimate seems to have dynamic range compression, and Petra Means Rock sounds muddier but that could be a difference in EQ.)

Hi, I'll send you a PM with a dropbox link shortly, just uploading it, (it'll be 320kbps mp3, but wav available if you'd prefer after hearing it).

I’d love a link as well (including the 2 tracks from Washes Whiter Than), if you don’t mind.

Yeah...thanks for that brother!
Not putting a link up publicly, as I don't want my work pinched again by Grifter, but ask and you shall receive...just watch out if they suddenly issue a 'Captured From Cassette' version. The files have watermarks embedded with my information, so I'll know. (Girder have been contacted about the WWT files, btw, but have declined to even respond; Which is a shame, because I could've saved them a lot of work & $$$, if they were planning on releasing remasters of the remaining Petra albums).

Here's a cover I made for the cassette version of CITAS:

It makes it visually distinct when I'm scrolling through an album list on my digital music player.

I also made a cover for my DVD audio rip:

Listening to the remastered "On Fire" from Girder Music. When "Counsel of the Holy" ends, about a half-second of the song is clipped off. Then that half-second of audio leads into the beginning of "Somebody's Gonna Praise His Name".

I reached out to Girder and was unceremoniously informed, "We remastered exactly what Capital gave us. We have no rights to modify the music."

So I fixed it on my own.

Girder must be using the original star song cd version as it too has the half second clip in the track.

I can't say I've ever noticed any clipped audio for all the years I've been listening to the CD version of On Fire!.

I guess it’s only an issue if you’re ripping the CD, not when you’re just listening straight through.

Suppose it depends on how you rip it. I use lossless FLAC these days which plays back gapless by default. If you're ripping to MP3 without the "gapless" flag enabled, then you would be more likely to hear when tracks aren't divided perfectly.
