Hi everyone!

I learned yesterday that Petra will do a show in Germany - and I was really confused, as I was very sure, that beside some concerts of "Classic Petra". there is no Petra, anymore.

But then I checked out on petraband.com, that it is possible to book Petra. So ... Petra is alive?

Best,
Markus

Hi Markus, Petra will do occasional shows, but usually not more than a couple per year. I expect that the lineup at the Loud & Proud festival in Germany will be be Hartman, Schlitt, Bailey, Borneo and perhaps Lawry. The previous show they did was in October 2020. So they are available for one-off single show / special event bookings. Petra will be joining a travel tour to Israel/Jordan in November and they will perform a one-off show in the ancient city of Petra, so if you're swimming in € you could also go there.

They are retired not dead. There is a difference. If you offered ten million dollars I’m sure you could get what ever lineup you want… It’s the same as every other old timer out there. To paraphrase another artist they ain't as good as they once were, but their as good once as they ever were.

Thank you! I was just not aware of this. Nice to see, that they are performing from time to time. ☺️

Unfortunately, the festival in Germany got cancelled due to a combination of stricter local safety protocols and international travel issues for the (mostly) American bands.

Petra at Petra! That would be awesome to see. Unfortunately, I don't have the time to make such a trip.
