The compilation we didn't know we needed...
Let's hope it's the compilation to end all compilations...

I don’t have a problem getting this compilation, as it does seem like a good commemorative item for the fifty year celebration. Plus, I don’t own the other hundred compilations that are already out there. I do feel however, that the t-shirt they just added to the lineup is…not great.

Not exactly “career spanning”. One song after 1997. Could have at least paid lip service to the post-Bob era with a couple of songs.

I know everyone will have their preferences when it comes to the track listing, but here are mine anyway:
This Means War! Is under-represented. Take out the BTS version of God Gave Rock and Roll to You and 2 songs from PP2 so that we can get a couple more from TMW, I would choose Kenaniah and You Are My Rock.
Also, I would swap Second Wind out for Stand Up.

Yea. For me, I didn't like the back as much. It may be the reason others like it tho.

I think it depends on how much you welcome a discussion about it. Personally, I'm not going to wear a shirt in public that could prompt some random person to rebuke me when I just want to go about my business. This happened to a friend of mine last summer. He was wearing a shirt that celebrated his Mennonite culture and someone came up and said that he couldn't believe a Mennonite would wear such a shirt.Petrapraise wrote: ↑Mon Mar 06, 2023 4:22 pmYea. On the other hand, some people are energized by such confrontations.

I suppose it's a nice collection for someone who doesn't already own every Petra album, but for a longtime fan like me, I have zero interest. I'm also suspicious of the "remastering" since none of the original tapes exist for the older material (not sure about the John and Dino produced albums) meaning these are just going to be EQ tweaks to already baked masters -- or possibly even "remastered" from commercial CDs.
