I don't see it on Petra's website yet but Not Ashamed, a band they did a 50th anniversary concert with, says 2 more concerts are confirmed. Also, a few more may be on the way too.

There's also a May 12th date at Murray Hill Theater in Jacksonville, FL that's not on that site, 7pm.

To those of you able to see Petra Live and in concert I am jealous. It's been decades since I've been able to hear some of their songs, and anything after Unseen Power was just not in the cards. I encourage anyone with the ability to attend a Petra show to do just that....go!

I've been surprised to see all the activity on Facebook surrounding this band and the reunion tour that is taking place over the summer. Where have all these fans been the last few years? I mean, there's barely been a blip of interest about Petra on social media for several years and all of a sudden there are hundreds of people seemingly excited to see a great rock band. Is this all the hoax? Or, has there been a sleeping giant waiting to see Petra?

I think it has more to do with the amount of people on FB. Rather than what we have on this board.

I attended the Henderson concert just outside of Jackson, TN this past weekend, and the venue was packed! The setlist was mostly comprised of songs from their Farewell album albeit with a few surprises thrown in. John & the band sounded great and put on an impressive show for a band who's been officially retired for the past 17 years! I'm hoping to see them again here in Nashville in November!
