I've been locked out for a bit- and while I am excited that Petra is touring, part of me wished they were not doing Easter shows- guess I'll forsake the family traditions in order to see my band for what will likely be the last time. The Good Friday show includes dinner- likely unfriendly to those who give up meat for Lent, but hard to confirm since the menu is not listed. Arlington is a bit farther but doable. The chance to hear Petra loud, amplified, and live has this 50 year old excited like a teenager.

A new album might get this forum going again, at least a little, but it seems the prospect of new material didn't go beyond Facebook rumors -- as far as I know, they're not even doing new songs in concert -- so we have literally nothing new to discuss.

He Lives!

I still listen to Petra lots, I would say 40%-50% of my listening. Modern songs do little for me.

If you haven't bought John's newish cd. "Go", SHAME ON YOU! I think its his best one.

I'm still here! More active on the Facebook pages these days. Looking forward to seeing John on The Union of Sinners and Saints - The Storytellers Tour next month here in Maine!
