The Petra Zone

The Zone is up for domain name renewal again.... I'm not sure if it's worth it.
Not that many people come here any more, and since cash is at a premium nowdays - should I renew it or let it go?

I wish there were more to talk about, but it seems all Petra related topics have already been thoroughly covered. I do check the site much more frequently than I post these days.

Yeah, I don't know if it's worth my money to keep renewing.... that being said, if anyone wants to contribute I'd be more than happy to accept donations.

What is to renew Sue like $25? The cost of 2 coffees under Biden/Harris right?

As long as people want to use it I'll keep the server up.

I would also like the zone to continue to exist.
A few years ago, this was also a consideration. Back then, Dan created a PayPal button to collect donations. The button is still there - doesn't it raise enough to keep the zone going for the next few years?

I would like to see it continue, if only for the massive amount of information hidden in our threads.

Happy to chip in. Is it hosting space or domain name fees that are the heaviest burden?

Server and upkeep cost is 0 that is my donation.

Domain name is $22/year.
I don't recall what was raised a few years ago, but I know it was enough for that year for sure.
OK, I'll keep it going and if nothing else - we have a great history of past topics, prior to Myspace, Facebook, TikToc and all that jazz.
