I was downloading Chris Tomlin ringtones onto my cell phone the other day, and I was playing around see what songs were available by other Christian artist, and when I tried Petra I was surprised to see that there was 2 ringtones for them. I have my default set to "Wake the Dead" - and he got a kick out of it when my phone was going off last weekend when we were in Portage.

I was wondering - why is it that some ringtones sound "tinny" and others are more "full-bodied?" They both say they're mp3s, so why the difference?

The ones that you buy - do they sound 'real?'

bandwidth. if you cut down the bandwith it won't sound as good and will be kind of tinny.

I make them myself so anything. I haven't made a lot of john's but I can, it's not real hard.

What are some good songs that would make good ringtones? Do you charge for them, you know like you would have to pay when you download them?

it only takes about 5 min to make and no charge. Send me you email and i'll send you the wake the dead tone so you can hear it on your puter.

Wake the Dead sounds terrific! Loud, proud, and it makes people look at you when your phone rings! lol!

It's not like a regular pre-loaded ring, but it makes its point!

I was just coming to check up and see why I haven't heard from you. 12 hr. days would be a good excuse. I don't know if you got my email. I was able to listen to Wake the Dead's sample, but I don't know if that was the actual ringtone? You'd have to walk me through how to get it to my phone.

When you get a chance you can just send me an email with Wake the Dead and Beyond Belief's chorus. The instructions to get it onto my phone would be appreciated as well.
