John Schlitt - First Concert on Tour with Petra

I have finally found the "lost" video from the March 12, 1986 concert with Petra in Norway. It was the first concert on Tour with new vocalist John Schlitt. I have shared a preview clip when Bob Hartman introduces John Schlitt as the new vocalist and band member! The whole concert is around 90 minutes. I will share more of it on Petrafiles.com later on.

btw: John must have forgotten about the jacket with tails and the white boots when he made a comment on that radio program about not wearing goofy clothes...or something like that...hehe.

That might be from Petra's first tour with John, but his very first show with Petra was in Australia.

This whole concert is on johnwschlitt.com and IT'S AWSOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! John sounds so good singing all the old songs it's just a pleasure to watch.

I have downloaded the complete concert and its fantastic!! John did so great here! I Love hearing him sing all those older songs.. I got chills on Hollow Eyes!
Trodland, you Rock!! How do you go about finding all these videos?? I've been searching for video footage of ONE Head East show with John fronting and have had no luck!

Does it seem odd to any of you that Petra began touring with John before releasing Back to the Street? Did Greg leave the band with tour dates scheduled?
That being said, I am glad to have this video. Cool stuff!

I guess that is the case. The concert in Norway was advertised with Greg X Volz as lead vocalist, and everyone was surprised when we didn't saw Greg X Volz on stage that evening! But to be onest, - after the first song I had forgotten my frustration
What a great vocalist Bob had found!!!

would it be fair to say that this is part of the Beat the System tour? John sounds fantastic, when each song begins it's like woah, what a voice.
