I know this is a Petra board but Louie IMHO will always be affiliated with Petra. I have now noticed that the website for Viktor is down. I was wondering if anyone on the board has any info as to if they are still kickin or if they have gone by the wayside? Discuss

Oops. Looks like someone forgot to pay the bill or something.

It was up a couple of weeks ago.

I tried calling Ricky about some interview options for Louie, and his phone goes straight to voicemail, which is full. Pretty weird for a band manager to keep that avenue of communication bottle-knecked.

All indications show they are no longer together. I know a promoter in my area tried unsucessfully to get them here as an opening band with 2 other groups, but they declined. Also Shoutfest tried to put together a package for them highlighting 80's-90's style artists to play some shows in 2007 but they said scheduling was in their words were "tight". How can your schedule be tight when your not playing any dates as it is? You can not be a sucessful artist in this day and time if your not on the road.
Petra played the shoutfest tour in 2004 and it was very sucessful.

I hope Viktor is still together, and they can get their website back up. I was finally gonna buy their debut album as a Christmas gift to myself within the next two weeks.

I have the Viktor CD...Listened to it twice honestly I wasn't that impressed. I expected a little more crunch in the instrumental department. Considering where the band members came from. It was a good CD don't get me wrong just expected more. I like Bennets voice and wished they would have gone full out rock.

I thought it was cheesy and boring. I haven't even managed to listen to it more than once.

I really don't like knocking other's music, if that is where they are now, but the genre doesn't fit the players (in my mind) because I loved King James the first time around, and of course loved Petra live. So, it is hard for me to accept anything else. That is not where the market is now, hence the need to put out something more general consumption oriented.
