Anybody here going to GMA?
I'll be in town for a bit... we have a bunch of interviews/publicity going for John, as well as a private acoustic showcase-type event.
I've been to GMA once before, but this time I'll be acting in a more 'professional capacity.'
Just wondering if anyone else here will be heading down to Nashvegas.

Is that like the "Trophy for Whatever Steven Curtis Chapman Did This Year Awards?"
Won't be in attendance.
But not because of that.
Unrelated plans.

Too funny!
Actually, I'm not sure Steven did anything that qualifies this time around. I believe his new album came out too late, and will be snapping up awards next year. I could be wrong though.

Jonathan, your humor never fails to humor me.
DO explain your avatar... I'm curious as to the meaning of the "D" in there....

I am a life long Detroit Tigers fan, and the Olde English D is their logo. Because of their baffling 6-11 start, I consider them a great enigma. The avatar is a parody of the poster in Agent Fox Mulder's office, in which there is a UFO in the sky. Not a D. UFOs are an equally baffling enigma. Which is why its so darn hilarious.
But to answer your original question, sure, I believe God could have created life on other planets in other galaxies. Did he? Not probable. Especially considering aliens would be limited to the same frailties we human beings are, so I consider it unreasonable to believe these aliens would be visiting Earth.
A spiritual, supernatural mystery? Far more plausible.

Tonight we had a media showcase, with Don Francisco, Dallas Holm, The Archers, to name a few.
John sang "The Grafting" and "Only Men" with an acoustic guitarist, and he did great! The room was packed, people were sitting on the floor, and every artist took turns doing a song, sort of in a circle. It was very neat, and something definitely different. At the end we all joined in with a worship leader in "God of Wonders." It was a very cool moment.
Tomorrow we head back to do interviews and such...

Is it only me, or is there anyone else that think's Jonathans "swindle now" banner is disturbing? I don't think it's funny at all! I created the original banner, but Jonathan has turned it into something that just makes me feel sad.

Welcome to the age of "everything is free to us as you want."

Don't be so downtroddlan.
At least you have the imagination to create new things. I only have the skills to take existing things and make them hilarious.

Yes, it's hilarious, but not that funny! I respect Johns music and ministry too much to think this is funny. Anyway, do as you want, if this makes you feel good!

Hey Jonathan. Do you know that is going to be the title of the new X-Files movie. "I Want To Believe"

To get this thread back on track..... (eh HEM!)....
I'll be sending out a newsletter within the week on all that went on at GMA, and the reactions and such.
We had three more days of interviews with television, radio and print/net media. Lots of wonderful comments about The Grafting, and about John himself.
Things are looking VERY positive for the future!
