There are various sites that do this for you. Some phones just play MP3s.

Depending on your phone, I can't think of a better way than just transferring MP3 files from a computer via Bluetooth.

I've got This Means War! as my primary ring tone through Verizon, but I'd LOVE to be able to "make" my own using any of the MP3's if someone could show me how...

Chris did you get the tones to work? I tried to email you but it came back as undeliverable.
