Ok don't panic too much, hopefully it will be brief. But my hosting company just told me we get new IP assignments on Friday and we have a week to modify things. Unfortunately, during that week I'll be on vacation traveling through Mexico's Copper Canyon, with minimal (or no) internet access. Should be a rush to get things changed before I leave, and hopefully there will be no trouble. Probably an outage while the new IP and DNS get synced up.

pretty annoying. They pick the worst possible time to make me change stuff.

Probably won't happen before I leave, so I'll probably try to find a cybercafe in Chihuahua, Mexico on Sunday and hopefully fix things from there. If something goes terribly wrong there's a possibility for a few days of downtime.

glad it turned out Ok. Changed DNS Monday evening but one nameserver was still wrong and didn't get updated, and I forgot to change things in Apache. Did that Tuesday morning before taking off into the boonies by train. I couldn't verify that things were working before I left, so I'm glad to see it up now.
