cool! just wanted to say.. i went to GMA sunday nite, for the Stryper new cd listening party.. and while i was waiting on the 4th floor elevator lobby, one of the elevators opened up, and there was John Schlitt in it talking to someone.. i didnt yell anything,, didnt want to be disrespectful or like im star struck. i met him last oct anyways. just thought that was very cool!

Thanks to TRODLAND for all his hard work in keeping up with me and putting all the stuff on the website. NONE of this would have been possible if it were not for him.
PLEASE give him a big round of applause!!!
Shell, believe it or not John actually DID blog (more or less)!
Every night I asked him what he wanted to say about the day, and he told me... I also kept track of his comments DURING thd day and then put it all together. Course I had to paraphrase a bit because I don't take dication and my shorthand is a kinda rusty (ha!), but he actually did say what was written.

He's such a nice guy... we had been emailing and this was the first time I met him in person (other than my very first Petra concert in 1993, when I snuck backstage at this huge youth concert and simply walked up to him and introduced myself!). I was gutsy even back then... and no, I wasn't a youth! I was 32 with a kid in tow.
Funny how years later the Lord brings you to a most incredible place where I no longer have to SNEAK backstage - I'm now a part of it and can WALK backstage. Who would have ever thought??!
The Lord never fails to amaze me....

Sue, Trodland - you guys both did a great job keeping us posted. I was on the site reading everynight that you updated it. I love all the pictures and videos that got put up of John - it seriously looks like he is having the most fun he has had in a long time. Bet you had a ball there huh, Sue? So cool that John Lawry came out to support John aswell. John sounds SOOO good on those videos - I was comparing Wake the Dead with the studio version from 14 YEARS AGO and I cannot believe how good John STILL sounds!! He doesnt lower the key or get wimpy on the high notes - he nails it! and I LOVE the new NOTW clothes - super stylish - but BOLD!
