John's on his way to Europe tonight, with the first concert on Friday.

I bet his European fans will be glad to see him, I'll watch for the reports.

I don't think John should show his face in Europe. Isn't that the birthplace of Nazism? Also, I think it may be an endorsement of the Pope.

Somehow I feel inclined to not really take you very seriously, Jonathan.

Sadly I won't be in Sweden or Germany or Romania... Too bad there were not promotors in the UK willing to organize a show.

John should not go there because that would endorse poor dental health.

P-freak -- we're working on another European tour in Fall with just John and band - no Adahl. Maybe a promoter in the UK will hook into that tour.

AndBand has heard nothing about this. You better make sure our schedule is clear.

on a SERIOUS note - we have our first report in (though no photos --- friends of the promoter were looking at the pix and accidently deleted them - augh!!!)

But we DO have an update:

The airplane from Detroit to Frankfurt, Germany, where John was in, landed about 15 minutes earlier than it should have. So everything went more properly than we hoped. John was very tired after that trip, but we had a very nice time to talk anyway.

When we arrived in Bielefeld, the hotel room was not empty or clean yet, so we decided that John could have a little nap at my parents house. So he did. Afterwards we drove to the hotel again and John got his well deserved place to rest.

In the evening we met again to talk some things over about the concert. It was a great pleasure to feel unity in the spirit. We prayed that Jesus might have his way with the concert and everything. Finally we prayed that the venue will be empty the whole day so we can build up the backline for rehearsal in this room, which will guarantee a more effective band practice. Please unite with us in prayer for this aim!

Sounds suspicious to me. What was John really doing over there. Meeting in smokey back rooms where people plan the fall of democracy. Probably getting ideas for new material on his next album. Look for it in 2010...

On a VERY serious note requiring prayer:

John had money from CD sales and cash stolen at the Romanian airport... I don't know how much but I can well imagine it wasn't pocket change.

The police are involved, and Calin, part of the Romanian team is working with them right now (they've tracked it to someone in the baggage handling area).

John's already on the plane to Sweden....

Please pray that this money is recovered and that the enemy (meaning both the thief AND satan) pays back sevenfold!
