Here's a newsletter I'll be putting out (as soon as Elo replies with her Spanish translation... oh Elo... where are yooooouuuuu?)

If you looked at the photos & videos from GMA, you'll see John wearing a variety of tshirts, jeans, shoes, hats, etc. These all came from NOTW, which is a clothing line that has a sponsorship-type program for artists. John is one of them, so if you're looking for new stuff to wear - you'll get a 10% discount on your first order, and John will get a commission as well. Everyone wins.

------------------

If you have been following Petra for some time, you know that NOTW stands for NOT OF THIS WORLD, the title of both the album and song of Petra's 1983 release.

We want to introduce you to another use of the acronym NOTW, which is the name of the official clothing line of John Schlitt.

http://www.c28.com/?iid=264916&adid=JohnSchlitt

According to the Christian retail store chain "C28" which sells and markets the clothing line, "'NOT OF THIS WORLD' is an alternative lifestyle brand that goes beyond the norm. NOTW is an identity. Set apart to save and empower lives. Uniquely made and part of a bigger plan, NOTW provides fashion that communicates the grace, truth and love of Jesus. It's about you and the One who loves you most."

Those who purchase products, including clothing, music, jewely and accessories through John's landing page are given a 10% discount off their first order by using the code "johnschlitt." You must go through John's landing page for your first - and all future - orders.

In addition, C28 donates a certain percentage of all purchases to evangelical outreach ministries.

Feel free to check out all of NOTW's clothing, jewelry and accessories and if something catches your eye - remember to use the code "johnschlitt" when placing your order for your discount!

Ugh. I hate these new t-shirt styles that are becoming so popular. The "art" on the front is so gaudy. I miss the days when t-shirts had simple, even pictures and writing on them.

I think tie-dye might be the only thing that is worse.

I love tie dye. Minus the dope.

I have a complaint

There are no NOTW thongs? Come on. Christians like those too.

There's some ridiculous stuff there, but I find most of it to be quite good. We just got back from a christian music festival, and a lot of the stuff you find for sale there is downright awful. I guess the only qualification is that you are a christian company and can pay for the spot. Doesn't matter what you are selling.

You're probably right, but...for example? Awful as in cliche' and kitschy kristian krap?

JONATHAN!!!!! YOU are TERRIBLE!!!!

lololol!

(bad thing is -- there probably IS a product like this out there SOMEWHERE!)

Bottom line in marketing: if you make it, SOMEONE will buy it! (anyone recall the Pet Rock?)

I like the poopoo-gram in a box idea myself. All of your food, toilet paper and reading material would be deductible too.

You can see my cheesy sales techniques:

Jonathan is terrible. LOL. Leave it to him to come up with something like that. Sue is right, there probably IS stuff like that somewhere. Scary thought.

Pet rock - is that the abreviation for the name of an old Petra album?

Hey Brent, I hear Oxyclean is looking for a new pitchman. Maybe you should give them a call! $1 for 10000 cds - sounds like a great deal to me!!!!

That's $1 EA when you buy 10k CDs. Very different.

I don't think that I would be able to ever fill the artifically black colored hair and beard of that dude. He was a true, anooying, master.

"Call me now and I'll double the order and throw in a set of Dead Sea Scroll Steak Knifes. Just pay processing."

I knew what you meant on the pricing, but that's not what you said. LOL
