Does anyone here know what the official records sales to date are of J&H

Something else I wanted to know. If someone buys a cd of Petra from a record label Petra isnt on anymore. Who gets the money from the sale, does Petra get any or does it all go to the record company, what if the cd is outa print....?

Depends on the contracts, and the terms of sale. Some do, some don't. Even if the artist does get something, it will be about .30, yes that's cents, or less.

What is does help are the SoundScan numbers. Every record that is sold is tracked, unless it is barcode free. This helps Petra tell the next record company, "Look fellas! We're a money pig. We sold 10 million records."
