Well folks I know it took long enough but here are a couple links to John Schlitt AndBand... Enjoy.

We recorded this on our travels with John. Mat put it together in a little mini movie overview of some of the songs we did. Good times man, good times...

If Petra got back together and you guys were the lineup I would love it, you even did the extended version of I am on the rock..... you guys rocked seriously. I mean that's more like Petra than anything done in Petra's last 10 years before retirement.

Thanks Daniel and Hudson. I really appreciate that. We heard that exact same comment about "Sounding more like Petra than Petra did at the time" from many Petra fans when we played. One guy told me that we were the Petra he had been waiting for for almost ten years!.

I just approached the whole thing as, "I'm a fan, what is it I like to hear and what have I heard that other fans want from Petra." That's why I incorporated the extended ending to I am on the Rock. "Thanks for noticing" I had heard that a couple times live and thought, Man, we have to do this song, with this ending!

We learned those songs the way they are supposed to be played. It always bugs me when you hear a song done live that doesn't resemble the original. Especially Petra or John Schlitt Solo songs. Those are classic songs! The guitars, keys, drums, even the background vocals were the way people remembered them. I think we even pushed John a little bit to embrace some older songs, like "I am on the Rock" John went back and told Bob they had to start doing it live again, after he played it with us. Funny, they started doing it and it was in the Farewell medley.

I think we were refreshing for John as well. He seemed really tired when we first started playing together, but by the end he was really excited about each show. John talked about writing with us, and the possibilities of other gigs. That never came about, but it's all good. I have these memories. After watching this again, I wish we could have been a part of John's solo career, he always called us "His band" but I wish the new guys luck and hope they are able to support John.

ps. Just as long as they fix whatever that was they were playing as Wake the dead on the youtube video Sue posted, :) Het I've got to rib them a little don't I? haha!

ya know Enosh

No matter what, those memories are the most important thing :)

I don´t care if never see John live in concert again (THOUGH I´LL PLAN TO DO IT HAHAHAHAHAHAHA), the videos I have of the conventions, the photos, all that will be with me for the rest of my life.

And ya know what Enosh? I don´t care if the original lineup gets together again, for me the Andband will always be PETRA ;)

Keep all those videos and photos in a safe place :) and everytime you feel discouraged about a big problem or feel that God is not listening or answering to you, put on those videos or open your albums, I truly believe all those things Enosh are gifts God gave you s you would never forget that He still moves stones, that if He answered your prayer of you wanting to meet John and perform with him, He will still answer all your prayers in the present and future :)
