Back in the day when petra was still on tour, did Bob own all the guitars that he used on tour, or were they loaned to him buy the guitar makers??

I know that on the final tour he used his own, but I am not sure about the other tours.

Endorsements typically require the artist to use them live at some point, make appearances at trade shows/events, do interviews, etc. Some manufacturers give the gear outright. Some give a hefty discount. 99.9% of the manufacturers limit selling the gear while endorsing.

I could be wrong, but I think that he has sold nearly everything he toured with in the old days.

He still has his Zion Powerglide.
